Above is a personal task and exercise in branding. As summer approached I researched and viewed branding assets and advertising, and wanted to test my skills by creating a new sunscreen brand from scratch. I started with the logo (sketches, roughs, semi's, and finals) then moved on to brand pattern and overall colour palette. After establishing the brand palette and logo, I moved on to the packaging design to give the viewer and in-depth view what the brand entails.
As our third-year grad show, we were tasked to create branding for the "Design4Change" annual event. I started by creating common branding assets such as the logo and advertisements, moving on to mock-up t-shirts and merchandise. I wanted to include vibrant colors and a stroke of paint as the main focus for the logo/branding relaying the message of unlimited creativity through color, shape, etc.
As a 3rd-year Graphic Design project, I was tasked to have a randomly chosen local restaurant in London, Ontario rebranded. I was given the "Chop" restaurant and I wanted to create a cohesive look with more color to signify the healthy and high-end brands' communication towards their customers.
In this 3rd year project as a group, I was tasked to choose a game of our choice to create a new and fun marketing event. The location/company was tasked randomly as a local business to promote. We decided to use the classic BINGO game to provide deals to customers in a holiday festive style with a roulette-like system for locals and newcomers. The customer may access a physical print copy of a BINGO card of choice for variations of prizes or may access a digital version through an app.
In this third-year project, I was tasked to create a trade show booth advertising powerplay in Adobes 3D software. Using the 20x20 space, it was required to include 3 custom characters, booth assets, and signage to advertise within the display.
